Appalachian Mountains dancer Jesco White struggles with poverty, drug abuse and other ills as he strives to follow in his famous father's footsteps. After his daddy's murder, Jesco, fuelled by his vices, vengeance and self-hatred dons his dancing shoes and takes his show on the road.
